Millinery is the art of making hats by hand. At Plumage Millinery and Accessory Designs we specialize in making hats that are unique to our clients. Feathers and flowers, veiling, ribbons and sumptuous fabrics adorn our designs.
We will top off your outfit with a custom design or with one of our unique creations. Your own sizing will be used to create something spectacular to adorn you at that special function or for everyday wear. If you prefer to purchase a model from our web site, just send in your measurements via email, and we can size the hat just for you.
Resident milliner and designer, Betty Finnie Hunt, trained in the art form through George Brown College's fashion program in Toronto. She has a BFA from Concordia University and years of fashion history from backstage and post performance adventures at both Edmonton Opera and the Canadian Opera Company.
